Check out the Japanese secondhand bookstore that sells books, CDs, DVDs and games. Of course you can sell your stuff to them as well! The place has cafe and children's playground too!

Wow, awesome! Maybe I can finally buy japanese books without having to spend a bomb at Kinokuniya.

I visited the bookstore the other day and got myself 3 children's book. (yes for myself!) Total cost $29.00 and are in really good condition. I also became a Bookmart member (FOC) on the spot. The staffs are really friendly and will assist you if you have a specific book you want. Unfortunately, no one wants to sell off their Kadonsha Jap-Eng Dictionary. They also have a small cafe and you can sit and read the many books/manga/magazines there while having a beverage. Here's an incentive for me to really learn the language so I can get the fashion magazines for $2! *yay!

good for getting 2nd hand comics and browsing them before you even buy it :)
but one thing is that, i find it quite hard to communicate with them.. they speak a little too fast for my standards. but i will patronize them again!
