I think we can choose either Nara or Kyoto, not necessarily both?

So maybe Koyto for 1 week and 3-4 days for Nagoya / Osaka?

I do not think there is a need to spend so much time in Kyoto, not being a big fan of temples and old buildings. 2 or 3 days should suffice.

I have just organised a few thoughts:

1) Good Friday falls on April 2 next year, so if we leave on Thu night and reach Singapore by the next Sunday, then we only need to apply for 5 days leave. So Trip Date is confirmed: 2 April Fri to 11 April Sun. (10 days)

2) Entry/Depart Point: Kansai International Airport

3) Cost: All-in around 3k.

4) Mid-Oct : Finalise itinary with travel agents. We can still change the itinary involving us only.

5) Mid-Nov : Pay Deposit and wait for Trip!

Interested parties: 1) Shingo 2) Dennis 3) Lynn 4) Shuhua 5) Auschek

Cities to visit: 1) Kyoto 2) Osaka 3) Nara 4) Shigo 5) Nagoya ... in that order?

Hi Audrey, Dennis and I had the trip discussion.Just narrow down the cities where we should visit..OSAKA, NARA, KYOTO..I think 3 is enough for 10 days holiday..Ya, we can have more discussion this and We should do more..confirm the number who can make it..Not those who are "interested"..need the number of those who mostly can make it, etc..otherwise cant decide anything..

but I am definitely interested to join this tour provided if the powers that be allows me to go on holiday next year.

Whatever the case I am interested as it has been almost ten years since I visited japan!!

But hey since we are at the planning phase, I thought brain storming some ideas would great. Or am I too late?

Bro Dennis, since its a once in a life time thingy for u, may I sugg3st roten onsen ? ^_^ I heard that onsen is not limited to only winter or autumn. Can try during spring ?? Maybe even a roten onsen ryokan with a sakura tree nearby and petals falling while u sipping small amount of hot sake?!? Gomen, I maybe painting a too pretty picture. maybe even too exxp. But can try do some research.
