In conjunction with the Rakugo lecture organized by the Japanese Embassy, I'm organizing a special PRIVATE (only for meetup members) video screening of a very popular japanese drama series about Rakugo - Tiger and Dragon. This event is meant to be a pre-event of the Rakugo demonstration that the Japanese Embassy has organized. http://www.sg.emb-japan.go.jp/events_RAKU_22-9-09.htm We will be going to the Rakugo event on Tuesday night. So please register yourself at the Japanese Embassy website for the event first. The organizer told me that they expecting full-house. I will be showing a few episodes of the drama series so that we can all better understand the Rakugo on Tuesday. The event will be held at my humble office. To recap, the procedure is: 1. Everybody will be issued with a sticker (Pink: native Japanese; Green: Japanese speaker; Yellow: non-Japanese speaker) 2. Once each table is filled up (about 6-8 people), people will be assigned to new tables 3. Aug 29 9:00 AM	Japanese conversation after Yoga 5 attended (est.) – 4.503 Who should join: JLPT 1 or 2 holder or its equivalent and want to play Yoga. Other levels also allow to observe or join. Native Japanese or its equivalent: Please join for volunteer otherwise other level of participant just obliged to observe the conversation practice. Theme…: We enjoy Yoga with a new Yoga coach for 30 minutes and feel refresh well. Then we practice Japanese speaking with a native Japanese. Bring your own assignments. Cloth…: Comfortable wearing is better. If possible, yoga-mat, water-wear or sports-wear should be brought. Closing time: We say bye-bye at 11am. You better reach on 9am. It is a word formed by conjugating のみます/nomimasu (drink) and communication. Nominication is a practice in Japan of colleagues going out drinking after work. Here they will usually spill out their true feelings about each other and the company. However this is usually taken without malice so no one gets fired the next day. Do join me if you like drinking or just chatting with fellow members. Although this meetup is meant for alcoholics, non-alcoholics can join if they don't mind paying outrageous sums for normal soft drinks. Those who don't know me or can't find me can contact my mobile.
