 There will be a group in the cafe area with a sign on the table that says "Tulsa Area Japanese Language and Culture." 

Agenda

  • Go over basic meeting rules and etiquette
  • Introductions
  • Go over the minutes of the previous meeting
  • First lesson: the first dialog and the the two vocabulary pages after it from Genki I
  • Pass out hiragana and katakana worksheets
  • Go over one page of the worksheets for pronunciation and tips
  • Origami! Bring perfectly square, easily folded paper
  • Decide on a cultural activity for the next meeting
  • Assign homework for the next meeting

    Who attended?

      •  The meeting went very well. We're getting a good start and the group of people are excellent. We studied and did a little origami. Even though there were only four f us there were several others who made a point of letting me know that they wanted to come but circumstances prevented it.
