Japan Ireland Social Group Language Exchange

The Japan Ireland Social Group is for Japanese people living in Ireland and for Irish and people of other nationalities with an interest in Japan and Japanese culture. Our regular social night is the 1st Friday of each month, from 8 pm in Messrs Maguires by O'Connell Bridge. For more on this, look for our group on facebook. Here, in starting this meetup, I will launch another regular event for our group, a language echange. It will be on a trial basis to start, bi-monthly, mid week (2nd & 4th Wed). It is specifically a language exchange meetup with the intention of focusing on language learning. If you have lived in Japan, already speak Japanese and want to brush it up for fear of loosing it, if you are just learning now or interested in taking it up, then come along. In return, I'm sure it will be a good opportunity for some Japanese people to get some English (and maybe other language) communication practice, picking up some new vocabulary and getting answers to some questions they may have. Come anytime after 7pm. Many people will be new and not know each other, so grab a chair, squeeze in, say hello and go with the flow.
No official finish time. People can head off as they wish.
