Practice Japanese/English, meet new faces, meet some of the old crowd from Uptown Espresso Japanese Meetups.
This week we'll be at Pazzo's, a nifty pizza joint on Eastlake. It will probably be most cost-effective to share pizza, rather than ordering on your own. Many people may elect to share pitchers of beer as well. This should be reasonably inexpensive. Expect roughly $10/person for food, plus drinks. If you don't want to share, let the organizer know upon arrival.
The non-express U-District-bound bus routes 70, 71, 72, and 73, as well as routes 49 and 66, stop fairly close to here. Express buses may not stop in this area. Parking is reasonably available nearby, but you may find it easier to park a bit west of the restaurant.
Nijikai will probably be next door at the Eastlake Zoo, though I'll look around for a few other options.
