Mosugunatsudesune! Soon it will be summer!

Carlos has brought an idea to the table: Lets have a Yakiniku Party!
Yakiniku, in its simplest terms, is simply cooked meat! Any kind is fine. Usually you also cook vegetables as well as meat over a bed of coals on a small grill. It is a lot of fun and always tasty.

What I am looking for are suggestions on timing as well as location. Perhaps it would make sense to have this event at someone's home. At a park may be a bit more difficult but if anyone has suggestions in that direction or any other, please bring them forward. I will put a suggested date out there to get things rolling but we may change it depending on ability to attend.

If you could also take the time to reply to the questions with the email, that would be great. I am trying to get some consensus on a few topics about Japan/the Japanese and work those into our meetups.

Best regards and talk to you all soon,

Ron

This was a fun event, small showing, but we talked by the fire while grilling yaki-niku and veggies for about 4 hours. It was a bit of a short notice with the idea, so I am planning the next one out toward the end of July, first week of August. Really enjoyed spending the time with everyone and answering questions about Japan and Japanese life and even our attempt at Japanese grammar. Looking forward to our next meet. Ron

Good idea - need to give a little more time for more folks to be involved.
    •  The food was delicious and the format was a lot of fun.
