Hajimemashite (Nice to meet you). We are the Japanese Interest Group (JIG) of CT. Our mission is to meet at least once a month. At our meetings, we eat Japanese food, as well as talk about Japanese culture and news. We welcome anyone -- whether you can speak Japanese or not! If you have an interest in Japanese language, culture, history, food -- this is the group for you!

What members are saying

I have met some really interesting and good people. Everyone is nice and very intelligent. I am glad to be part of this group. ...

Erik

Perhaps one of these days I'll develop a more dynamic interest in Japanese culture, the purpose of the meetup, but for now I'm just in it for the food and for meeting new folks. ...
