This is the flagship meeting of the Dallas-Plano Japanese Langauge Meetup, held on the 2nd Wednesday of each month. You should have an interest in Japanese language or Japanese culture, however Japanese fluency is NOT a preprequisite to attending.

“ It was my first meeting and I met some very nice people there. Unfortunately, the venue isn't conducive to learning or even meeting everyone unless you physically move around the tables (which is impossible if everyone is sitting down). A proper meeting room that's quieter would be better. ” -
“ From a language learning perspective and the perspective of a beginner in the language, this format is pretty useless. How about separate tables, segregated by skill level? ” -
