日英ミートアップパーティー ~定期イベントのお知らせ~
The meetup is on the second Tuesday of each month, UPSTAIRS at the Crooked Surgeon Pub. This is from 19:30 to 23:00. It's close to Leicester Square and China town. There is good space to chat to people in Japanese and English. It is very informal but all are there to chat.

The pub is on Lisle Street which is off the bottom end of Wardour Street (near O Neils, Won Kei and just South of China Town's Gerrard Street). Lisle Street is on the corner where Waxy's Little Sister (pub) is.

Hey Tony, sorry you felt that way. Personally I met about 10 new Japanese people last night as well as talking to many I knew. Yes there will always be a mix of intents, but I have never had problems practicing my Japanese. I'd be happy to introduce you to other people though...

First of all, the languge is Japanese not "Jap". It is a very offensive term. I agree that many people were there for the wrong reason but unless you vet people before letting them in, this is always going to happen. As a matter of fact, there were enough Japanese people there if you tried hard enough. Finally, the event is free of charge so you can just leave if you find it not to your liking.
